Maruti Suzuki launches 2017 Swift

The all new Maruti Swift 2017 will be launched in India soon. The new Swift has been unveiled in Japan and will also be launched in India soon. The new Swift is a completely different car compared to the current model. It is an all new car. The third-generation Swift will be a much improved car and Maruti will want to make it a best-seller. This hatchback is now based on a new platform. It also gets more features, lighter body, better performance and highly mileage too. What is the new Maruti Swift 2017 all about? New Maruti Swift 2017 Launch Date :

India will be the first launch for this hatchback and it is from here that the company will be exporting it across the world. The new Gujarat plant is almost ready and the Maruti Swift 2017 will be manufactured there. This will Suzuki’s new base for India. The company will be moving its exports from Japan to India, due to lower labour cost.

FEATURES

Built on an all-new platform

The new generation Swift internally codenamed YSD is built on an all new platform called Heartect, which is different from architecture of Baleno and Ignis.
The Heartect architecture is lighter, rigid and a new generation platform that will make the new Swift sportier in design. The rigid platform will make it safer, the light weight will enhance its performance ride and handling.

Smiling grille

The exterior design of new Swift is sportier with sleeker headlamp and the vehicle boast of premium interior with more contemporary instrument cluster. On the front there's a new hexagonal honeycomb grille and all-new sweptback headlamps with projector units and L-shaped DRLS.

The engine

The Swift will be powered by 1.3 litre multijet engine and 1.2 litre petrol engine. The vehicle is also likely to get an automated manual transmission right at the start.

Sleek interiors

The inside of the new-gen Swift hatchback will also see some major changes like spruced-up upholstery, an all-new dashboard, flat-bottom steering wheel with mounted controls, twin-pod instrument cluster, and touchscreen infotainment system.
The new Swift will also have features like - electrically adjustable ORVMs, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, Bluetooth AUX and USB connectivity, auto climate control and much more.

On the back

As for the rear, it comes with new LED tail-lights and a lip spoiler integrated into the boot lid and a new muscular bumper.
